Police Reserves

The Spring Lake Park Police Department has a Reserve Unit that began in 2006. We are looking for community-oriented people of all ages, with various levels of experience, and various backgrounds including non-law enforcement. Police reserve officers are volunteers from the community who have a sincere interest in public service and the police department.

Police reserves will receive uniforms, training, and equipment necessary for duty. Police reserves will assist our sworn police officers with traffic control, training, parades, Tower Days activities, waiting for tow trucks, disasters, storms, bike patrol, animal control, football games, large events, and other duties requested.
