PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER
CITY OF SPRING LAKE PARK

The City of Spring Lake Park is seeking an individual to fill a full-time position in the Public Works Department.  The qualified individual will perform a variety of routine maintenance, service and repair duties to assist in the upkeep of municipal facilities, equipment and properties, with a primary focus on the City’s sewer and water system.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; ability to do strenuous physical labor and heavy manual tasks for extended periods when required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; possession of a valid driver’s license with a good driving record; a Class B Commercial Driver’s License, Minnesota Class D water License or ability to receive within 6 months of hire; and a MPCA SD Wastewater Collection certificate or ability to receive within 6 months of hire.

This is a non-exempt union position with wage range of $27.47-$33.76/hour, plus excellent benefits.
