Parks and Recreation Director

The City of Spring Lake Park is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Parks and Recreation Department. This position oversees the development, administration, and evaluation of comprehensive recreation programs, park maintenance, and community events. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing the department's budget, and coordinating the annual Tower Days celebration, among other community events. The ideal candidate will have a background in parks and recreation management, experience with public relations, and a passion for fostering community engagement through recreational activities.

Key duties include park facility planning, developing new programs, and serving as a liaison to the Parks & Recreation Commission. A bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation, Public Administration or a related field, along with supervisory experience, is preferred.

2024 Salary Range: $84,278.89 - $103,600.43, plus excellent benefits.
